Showreel: Duplication

WHY CHOOSE US?

We use only high quality professional media and technology. The discs we use are from Sony's DADC line of professional discs and are the highest quality we have found. Our printing process uses thermal retransfer technology - the quality is comparable to commercial discs and is waterproof and scratchproof. Unlike an inkjet print, this does not smudge or come off on your hands. There is no label to peel off and damage your DVD player when the glue heats up. A thermal retransfer print works by heating ribbon and bonding layers of colour and clear coating to the disc thermally. The result is completely waterproof and scratchproof.

If you are being charged different prices for ink coverage then your supplier is using cheaper inkjet technology. Make sure a fixer is being applied to your discs, otherwise the print will be damaged by water and during normal handling the ink will come off on your fingers.

We can easily accommodate bulk orders, in fact our machinery is specifically geared towards running off copies as quickly as possible. We recently supplied an order of 500 audio CD voicereels for an actor, which were ready for collection two working days later. If you require an express service this can be cut down to next working day.

WHY ARE WE SO CHEAP?

Our equipment is geared towards bulk operation. Our disc duplication towers can copy multiple discs at the same time and our printing process is automated and can print hundreds of discs unattended. This means much less work for us and we can pass the savings on to you.

IS A COPIED DISC LOWER QUALITY?

If we are copying a CD or DVD for you, we will make an exact digital copy. There will be no reduction in quality, unlike copying analogue video, e.g. VHS tapes. A digital copy replicates the data exactly; copying the digital information (which essentially consists of 1s and 0s) thus making a perfect replica of the source disc.
