[INTRO] [PELINOR] [TECHNOLOGY] [ABOUT US] Home: TechnologyAll of our work is carried out of high-specification multi-core Intel computers running Windows XP Professional or Linux (including Fedora, Suse and Ubuntu).
WEBSITES
We use Dreamweaver and Notepad to write pure code (HTML, PHP, Javascript, CSS etc.) & Photoshop with Ignite2 to prepare graphics for the web. Dynamic content is achieved using a combination of PHP server-side scripting and a MySQL backend database.
Each website is tested manually in Explorer (PC/Mac), Opera and Mozilla Firefox to ensure maximum compatibility and run through various accessibility and compatibility tests. You may test this website by clicking on the following links:

SHOWREELS
Our editing station uses a combination of hardware and software to capture, edit, process, encode and transcode video. Analogue video is run though hardware Timebase Correctors and Digital Noise Reduction filters to help eliminate noise, jitter and other possible video defects.
General editing and authoring is accomplished using the Adobe suite of products: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects and DVD Encore. Frame-serving is enabled by Avisynth, with Virtualdub used for HD video.
Video is captured using Matrox’s flagship product, the RTX.100 Xtreme Pro and fed from decks capable of outputting DV, DigiBeta, Betacam SP and S-VHS among other formats.
Disc duplication is achieved using an automated thermal retransfer printer and disc duplicating towers, enabling the fastest turnaround of discs whilst maintaining a very high level of quality. See the duplication section for more details. |
